I consider it one of the highest honors to have the opportunity to co-labor with brothers and sisters in Christ around the world to see Heaven invade earth and simply do our part to advance His Kingdom in what we believe eternity will call the most "glorious" generational transition in the history of mankind!

I see a new generation of revolutionaries rising up - literal image bearers of every age, gender, background and denomination. With increasing regularity, wherever I go I am meeting unprecedented numbers of people who are contending for a new kind of normal: where radical generosity is common place; the love of God is not communicated in words only, but liberally demonstrated with tangible evidence and signs that make people wonder; and the supernatural realties of God are pursued as everyday recreational activities, void of weirdness, sensationalism, religious dogma and rich in abundant life and love.

My hope is that the collective effect of our efforts at An Uprising - A Call To Battle™ will be an increasing resolve in people that it’s simply no longer acceptable to: pray and not actually expect to hear God speak; seek God but not expect to encounter God in an experiential way; study to know God but never expect Him to directly provide inspired revelation about Himself; attend gatherings where God is discussed but never really expect God to show up and manifest; and labor for God but never actually expect God to personally reward them as a laborer. Most exciting for me is that it’s simply no longer acceptable for a person to agree to being in a relationship with God based on a supernatural premise, like a virgin birth and a miraculous resurrection of the dead, but then not expect the miraculous power of God to be a present tense reality in their life once they believe.

I pray our efforts will reorient an entire generation to a new definition of religion, what it means to actually be a Christian, the good news of the gospel and the ultimate goal of our collective great co-mission.

I believe, as others have sensed, that we are observing the end of a "Mosaic" type era, where it has been common for solely church leaders to enjoy an intimate connection with God and then carry the entire burden of feeding masses of God's children who felt ill equipped to connect to God directly or feed themselves on His Word. A "Joshua" type generation has risen in its place.

This generation is marked by a new mindset where the entire body is involved -genuinely co-laboring with God, feeding themselves on His Word, honing the skills necessary to bring their own hearts into agreement with Him, abiding in intimacy, doing the greater works to advance His Kingdom, and being led by His Spirit in order to possess the more abundant life He promised was possible in this life and in the present-tense.

On the crest of a great "intercessory movement," I see an "equipping movement" emerging. This movement, I believe, is designed to practically prepare this Joshua generation to usher in a new age. I have heard it said that eternity will call this generation of image bearers a "chosen generation" because they are a generation who emphasizes "choice" and a generation who "chooses"; choosing to contend for the tangible reality of the Kingdom of Heaven manifesting through them on earth above all other realties that compete for their attention.

Simultaneously, I see a new model for what has been traditionally called "church" taking form; and "ministry," as the world has known it for centuries, is dramatically transforming before our eyes. It’s my passion to see this Joshua type generation re-orient themselves and others to a new Kingdom paradigm of supernatural power practically manifested through honor, love and extraordinary "fruit" so that reason and faith will no longer be opponents but will be considered reconciled.

An Uprising - A Call To Battle™ is not a ministry in the traditional sense, but a movement. Our goal is to inspire and equip An Uprising of practical doers of the love of God, to finish the task of our great "co-mission" and to live from hearts that are fully alive with a contagious joyful adherence to the "greatest commandment" with supernatural evidence and signs following.

Whether equipping a single individual, a small group or an existing congregation of hundreds or thousands, our assignment at An Uprising-A Call To Battle™ is the same; To come alongside and inspire and equip a massive, real-time, decentralized, highly organized, expeditiously equipped, infinitely scalable, locally focused, globally impacting army of individuals and small groups to accomplish the above mission in their everyday lives and geographic realms of influence. We just call it "doing the stuff!"
